Worldwide represented – LineScanner acceptance at Technical Glass & Aluminium Company in Dubai

Today, more than 1,100 systems are in use worldwide – including the Arabic company Technical Glass & Aluminum Company in Dubai, which recently decided to use a LineScanner for surface inspection. In close cooperation with the Italian company Forel Spa, SOFTSOLUTION technician Samir Pasalic installed a vertical LineScanner (3300mm) on a Forel insulating glass line at Technical Glass & Aluminum Company in Dubai.

In the future, the use of the LineScanner will enable the early detection and elimination of potential sources of error. The LineScanner checks single lites for surface defects after the washing machine to prevent defective single lites from being used to make an IG unit. This makes the inspection much more stable and reliable than manual inspection and thus saves time and costs in the production process.
