Successful first installation of OSPREY®25 at AGC Interpane Plattling

Plattling, Germany – Project Scope: Inspection for All Types of Distortion, Anisotropy, Edge Stress, and Surface Quality.

In summer 2025, Softsolution successfully commissioned the first Osprey®25 installation at the Plattling facility. The customer has been our partner for many years and represents the highest technical standards in flat glass production.

Intensive Testing Phase Under Real Conditions

Following the installation, an intensive testing and evaluation phase was conducted on-site together with Mr. Luis Hidalgo and his team. The system was comprehensively tested under real production conditions.

The result: Mr. Hidalgo confirms the very high measurement accuracy, reliability, and the proven long-standing technology of the Osprey®25. He was particularly impressed by the simultaneous inspection of all types of distortion, anisotropy, edge stress, and surface quality.

All quality data is seamlessly documented and directly linked to the respective order data.
